Business services centers in Hungary operate in more than 40 languages and are supported by over 328,000 tertiary-education students, along with significant dual-education partnerships with universities. A 9% flat corporate income tax rate, the lowest in the European Union, and a 13% social contribution tax rate underpin a competitive business environment. Companies also benefit from strong digital and physical infrastructure, including more than 400 ready-to-use office locations and full EU and Schengen integration, as well as tailored financial incentives and support from the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA). Budapest is the heart of the sector, home to more than 200 business services centres that employ around 92,600 people, approximately 85% of the industry’s workforce.
